Holiday baking is also one of my favorite things to do! Today’s featured holiday sweet treat is Peppermint Bark. This is SO easy to make, I PROMISE! All you need is a Brittle & Bark Mold which you can buy online.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
- crushed peppermint candies
Ingredients
Directions
How To Make It
- Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high at 30 second intervals, stirring between intervals until chocolate has melted and is smooth. Add 1 tsp of vegetable oil to the chocolate and stir. Pour into mold.
- Place white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high at 15 second intervals, stirring between intervals, until chocolate has melted and is smooth. Add 1 tsp vegetable oil to white chocolate and stir. Pour over chocolate in mold.
- Using the handle of a spoon, swirl chocolates together for a lightly marbled effect.
- Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies & freeze until set (this doesn’t take long at all!)
- To remove, peel back mold and break or cut along marked lines.
Recipe Note
If you don’t have a mold, just line a pan with wax paper.
This recipe is found on the back of the “Brittle & Bark Mold” packaging. You can find the mold on Amazon.
I love this bark for lots of reasons, but my top 3 are:
- DELICIOUS!
- GREAT GIFT FOR TEACHERS, FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS!
- LOVE THE MESSAGE ON THE FLIP SIDE!
Enjoy a little taste of Heaven right here in Austin, Texas!
