It was such a treat to spend time with Reese & Ali Ryan (as in Nolan Ryan's son and daughter in law) in their lovely home & awesome kitchen! Reese showed me how to make a delicious filet with the recipe from Nolan Ryan's Texas Beef Company! It was the most delicious filet I’ve ever tasted. TRUE STORY!!! Cooking with Reese was such a wonderful experience. I learned how to make a delicious filet and also learned more about Reese! He shared about growing up in the Ryan Household, about his time at TCU, about his own TV show & more! Ali & Reese, thanks again for welcoming Kristin (my daughter) and I into your home. Y’all are so special & loved by everyone who knows you. Friends, I have a feeling you’ll want to buy some Nolan Ryan Texas Beef and seasoning after reading this recipe.

- 2 Nolan Ryan Texas Beef Filets (at room temperature)

Nolan Ryan Steak Seasoning
- Olive Oil

How To Make It
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees
- Coat olive oil over all sides of filets
- Sprinkle Nolan Ryan Steak Seasoning on all sides of the filets
- Sear the filets in a hot skillet on the stovetop for 1 minute on each side. Reese prefers using a cast iron skillet.
Transfer skillet to oven, bake for 8 minutes
- Remove from oven & let the meat rest before cutting into it!
- Savor every delicious bite!
